Description

A lovely young anthurium, a collector's cross: Black Velvet x (Zara x michelle). Grown and acclimatised at home with care, rooted in sphagnum moss.

You will receive exactly the specimen in the photo. Remember it is a living thing in full development: with the right care it will keep growing and putting out leaves. It arrives well protected for shipping.

Growing and care

  • Light: bright indirect; never direct sun.
  • Watering: when the top 2-3 cm of the substrate are dry; Anthurium hates waterlogging.
  • Temperature and humidity: 18-28 °C, minimum 15 °C; humidity of 60% or more (humidifier or tray with water).
  • Substrate: airy mix (coco coir, perlite and bark); pot with good drainage.
  • Feeding: from spring to summer, balanced fertiliser at half dose every 2-3 weeks.
