Description

Alocasia Pink Dragon Albo, a true jewel of pink variegation, grown and acclimatised at home. Healthy corm ready to sprout, from our mother plant (first photo). You will receive exactly the corm you see in the photo.

Remember a corm is a living being in development: with the right care it will sprout and grow.

Important about corms: The development of a corm is completely unpredictable, so we cannot guarantee that the resulting plant will be variegated, nor how it will develop once it is in your hands.

What we do guarantee is that the corm has been collected from the mother plant shown in the photo, and that it will be shipped in perfect condition and carefully packaged. If, despite this, you receive the corm in poor condition due to transport, get in touch with us and we will find a solution.

Corm details

  • Variety: Alocasia Pink Dragon Albo — albo (white) and pink variegation
  • Format: rooted corm, ready to sprout
  • Origin: grown and acclimatised at home, in Girona (Spain). Unique specimen: you receive the one in the photo.
  • Shipping: Mainland Spain €6.95 (free from €60) and European Union; live-plant packaging, heat pack from November to March.

Growing and care

  • Light: bright indirect; never direct sun (high light keeps the variegation; shade fades it).
  • Watering: when the top 2-3 cm of substrate are dry; Alocasia hates waterlogging.
  • Temperature and humidity: 18-28 °C, minimum 15 °C; humidity of 60% or more (humidifier or tray with water).
  • Substrate: airy mix (coco coir, perlite and bark); pot with good drainage.
  • Feeding: from spring to summer, balanced fertiliser at half dose every 2-3 weeks.
  • Sprouting: keep it at 22-28 °C with high humidity (lid or transparent bag with ventilation) until the first leaf; then treat it like an adult plant.
