A lovely baby Alocasia Dragon Scale Albo, with its albo variegation already showing on the first leaves. Grown and acclimatised at home with care.

You will receive exactly the specimen in the first photo. The last image shows the mother plant as a reference of how it can develop; the mother plant is not for sale.

  • Variety: Alocasia Dragon Scale Albo baby 1 — albo variegation (white)
  • Format: acclimatised plant, with active roots
  • Origin: grown and acclimatised at home, in Girona (Spain). Unique specimen: you receive the one in the photo.
  • Shipping: Mainland Spain €6.95 (free from €60) and European Union; live-plant packaging, heat pack from November to March.

Growing and care

  • Light: bright indirect; never direct sun (high light keeps the variegation; shade fades it).
  • Watering: when the top 2-3 cm of substrate are dry; Alocasia hates waterlogging.
  • Temperature and humidity: 18-28 °C, minimum 15 °C; humidity of 60% or more (humidifier or tray with water).
  • Substrate: airy mix (coco coir, perlite and bark); pot with good drainage.
  • Feeding: from spring to summer, balanced fertiliser at half dose every 2-3 weeks.
